Drinking water and fire fighting booster pump station for a Waikato Industrial Development.
A drinking water and fire fighting booster pump station integrates two critical water systems into one infrastructure. It ensures continuous, high-pressure domestic water for daily consumption while providing guaranteed flow and pressure for fire sprinkler or hydrant systems during an emergency.
New Zealand Electrical & Pumps installed this pump set for a development in the Waikato which included a chlorination dosing system. We delivered the wiring and installation of the electrical control board, the VSDs (variable speed drives) and pump controls. The system design was a collaboration between New Zealand Electrical & Pumps and the Project Manager.
